Photographic Proof
Well here is the unblocked proof that the fingerless gloves / convertible mittens are complete.

I will pop them in the mail as soon as they are blocked.
Notice how they are trying to hide behind each other? That's because there are SO many things I would do differently. Like...
...unravel the yarn to a specific point as I began each glove to make sure both gloves were the same.
...found a way to prevent such large gaps between the fingers so that less weaving to cover was necessary
...attached the top with a crocheted edge. The books suggestion was to pick up 30 stitches and begin knitting the top. I didn't like the way that looked at all. I knitted the top first then just backstitched the top on about two rows up. Of course the books way would have worked to if I had matched up the yarn but by now I was worried I would run out of yarn.
...take exact measurements of Mo's hands myself.
...knit them both at the same time on two circs or the magic loop.
That said I am knitting my business partners matching 'botogans' in our company colors. Last year on MLK Day we closed and worked with Hands-On Charlotte cleaning up the Elmwood/Pinewood Cemetery . I'm hnot sure what our project will be this year but we are planning to work outside if possible...hoping the hats will come in handy !

Lovely, and I know how you had to fight this pattern. Well done.

Don't sweat the holes between fingers. That's natural and meant to be fixed later by weaving in your ends. You didn't do anything wrong there! They look great!
