This is a super heavy sock/slipper I am making for my Future MIL...I'm not the only one with cold feet!!  (pun intended)

I am making it following the "Mere Suggestion" from Jane Prater "My First Sock [Suggestion]"




I do have an ear warmer that I need to weave in the ends.  It's made to go over a ball cap bill.





But that's about it.  Jane FORCED me to buy yarn last night at Charlotte Yarn.  We are starting our own little KAL of the Sideways Curly Fries Vest.  Of course I realize that this is Jane's way of encouraging me to not chicken out and actually complete something bigger than a felted clog but I am nothing but totally grateful!

I was lucky enough to meet CrimsonPurl there last night.  She rescued me from the Giant Attack Swift as I was trying to wind my yarn...you remember the yarn...the Noro Silver Thaw that Jane forced me to buy.





 I am looking forward to joining the Charlotte Purls one Saturday very soon!
